Presentation of the Energy Cluster Gierałtowice during "Energy clusters, cooperatives and virtual power plants in Poland"
During the third edition of the seminar "Energy Clusters, Cooperatives and Virtual Power Plants in Poland", which will be held on 30 January 2018 in Warsaw, we will have the opportunity to listen to Joachim Bargiel, head of the Gierałtowice county, and Piotr Rzepka, Adjunct Professor of the Silesian University of Technology and PSE Innovation Main Consultant. Located in the poviat of Gliwice, the county of Gierałtowice is the founder of an energy cluster, in which it engaged, inter alia, Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa SA. The planned production of energy from renewable sources is to be complemented in this case with cogeneration from methane recovered from a nearby mine. The Institute of Design and Analysis, the National Energy Conservation Agency and the Control Process company as the cluster's coordinator are also involved in the creation of the "Cluster of Mining and Agricultural Energy of the Gierałtowice County". The plans include construction of photovoltaic power plants, biogas plants, energy storage and infrastructure for charging electric cars, but also cogeneration sources based on methane recovered from mines. Pod koniec zeszłego tygodnia Sejm przyjął trzy senackie poprawki do ustawy o rynku mocy. Ustawa ma trafić teraz do podpisania przez Prezydenta.
- pierwsza poprawka znosi obowiązek publikowania przez operatora rynku mocy wyników tzw. aukcji wstępnej, przeprowadzanej przed właściwą aukcją na moc, do czasu zakończenia tej drugiej
- zgodnie z drugą poprawką ta sama jednostka wytwórcza może być dopuszczona do aukcji głównej oraz do rynku wtórnego
- trzecia poprawka spowoduje włączenie do grona źródeł mogących liczyć na dodatkowe przywileje (np. na dłuższy o 2 lata kontrakt mocowy) jednostek, które rozpoczęły produkcję energii między 1 lipca 2017 roku a wejściem w życie ustawy, co ma umożliwić np. uzyskanie 15-letniego kontraktu zasadniczo przewidzianego dla nowych jednostek, przez nowy blok w Kozienicach, który właśnie rozpoczyna produkcję
W związku z tym, że na początku przyszłego roku Ustawa wejdzie w życie, zapraszamy do udziału w drugiej edycji naszego autorskiego seminarium pt. "Rynek mocy i inne mechanizmy mocowe - możliwości, obowiązki, strategie", które zaplanowaliśmy na 27 lutego 2018 r. w Warszawie. Szczegółowy program wydarzenia przedstawimy na początku przyszłego roku, jednak już teraz chcielibyśmy z wyprzedzeniem poinformować o projekcie, by wszyscy zainteresowani mogli wpisać datę Seminarium w swoje kalendarze.
I edycja wydarzenia odbyła się 21 listopada 2017 r. w Warszawie. W wydarzeniu wzięło udział blisko 40 ekspertów reprezentujących Ministerstwo Energii, PSE S.A., koncerny energetyczne (wytwarzanie, dystrybucja, B&R), przemysł energochłonny, uczelnie wyższe, kancelarie prawne i firmy doradcze.

The State Forests involved in the Forum of Biomass and Waste

Marek Szafirski, Engineer for heating systems and sanitary installations from Słupsk Waterworks, a leading member of the Słupsk Bioenergetic Cluster, will present the main concepts of the project during the seminar "Energy Clusters, Cooperatives and Virtual Power Plants in Poland" to be held on January 30, 2018 in Warsaw. As part of the cooperation, the Słupsk Waterworks (which implement a bio-refinery program based on the energy potential of the local sewage treatment plant) want to integrate the aforementioned sewage treatment plant with Engie Energetyka Cieplna facilities, the Słupsk Special Economic Zone and large energy consumers, such as a water park, fish industry, etc., as well as producers of energy from biogas, wind and dispersed energy generation. Mikołaj Jasiak from the Directorate-General for Energy in the European Commission will present on the latest work on the proposal for a new Electricity Directive, a part of the Clean Energy Package, contains a number of new provisions on consumer empowerment. One of the most outstanding novelties is the introduction of a new category of market player – the so called "local energy communities". The aim of the new provisions is to recognize already existing citizen energy initiatives that are spreading around Europe and to promote their development in the Member States where they do not yet exist. Additionally, the Clean Energy Package will provide the communities with an appropriate regulatory framework, safeguard their access to markets and it is expected to facilitate their access to financing and uptake of new technologies.
