sedc SEDC - Smart Energy Demand Coalition is an industry group dedicated to making the demand side a smart and interactive part of the energy value chain. REScoop REScoop is short for renewable energy cooperative, and refers to a business model where citizens jointly own and participate in renewable energy or energy efficiency projects. We also refer to REScoops as community power or community energy initiatives.

WE PCZ TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY of CZESTOCHOWA, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT was created in 1966 as a reformed and renewed organization from the existing Engineering School in Czestochowa, Electrotechnology Department.
It is one of the oldest and most respected academic institutions in Poland. In 2005 the Department introduced the ECTS system (European Credit Transfer System) enabling its students and graduates to continue their education on other Universities in Europe, with the recognition of skills and titles acqiuired at the Technology University of Częstochowa.
Presently, the academic and scientific activity is carried in the following Institutes: Energy (since 1984), Industrial Electrotechnology (since 1984), Electronics (since 1991), IT (since 1999) and Telecommunication and Electromagnetic Compatibility (since 2004).

TU Dresden The Technische Universität Dresden (University of Technology in Dresden and abbreviated TUD) is a public research university, the largest institute of higher education in the city of Dresden, the largest university in Saxony and one of the 10 largest universities in Germany. The name Technische Universität Dresden has only been used since 1961; the history of the university, however, goes back nearly 200 years to 1828. This makes it one of the oldest colleges of technology in Germany, and one of the country’s oldest universities, which in German today refers to institutes of higher education which cover the entire curriculum. The university is member of TU9, a consortium of the nine leading German Institutes of Technology. The university is one of the eleven German universities which succeeded in the Excellence Initiative in 2012, thus getting the title of a "University of Excellence". nfosigw The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW), which was established in 1989, in the period of political changes in Poland. NFOŚiGW is the main executive agency in the Polish system of financing environmental protection and water management, managing the greatest financial potential. IEO Instytut Energetyki Odnawialnej (IEO) założony został w 2001r. jako niezależna grupa badawcza/think tank i jest pierwszym prywatnym instytutem naukowym w Polsce posiadającym głęboką znajomość całokształtu zagadnień z zakresu energetyki odnawialnej: energia słoneczna, biogaz, biomasa, energia wodna, energia wiatrowa, planowanie energetyczne, poczynając od polityki energetycznej i prawa, analiz ekonomicznych i finansowych, a kończąc na kwestiach technicznych i projektowych. IEO ma też bardzo duże doświadczenie w uczestniczeniu w charakterze doradcy biznesowego (due-diligence, założenia i koncepcje rozwiązań technicznych, programy funkcjonalno-użytkowe, studia wykonalności, biznesplany, SIWZ, nadzór autorski i budowlany) w procesach inwestycyjnych z obszaru energetyki odnawialnej realizowanych przez firmy i samorządy oraz w projektach realizowanych na zlecenie Komisji Europejskiej. Ponadto, w ramach swoich prac IEO zrealizował szereg ekspertyz na zlecenie Ministerstwa Gospodarki, Ministerstwa Środowiska, Ministerstwa Rozwoju Regionalnego i innych instytucji rządowych oraz projekty komercyjne dla klientów biznesowych.

PIIT Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (PIIT) was established in January 1993.
The Chamber operates under the Law on Chambers of Commerce (dated to 30th May 1989) and "is entitled to express opinions and assessments of implementation and operation of the legislation on business" and "The competent authorities of state administration chambers of commerce provide information necessary to perform their statutory objectives. " The Board has the right to lobby on economic matters relevant to the sector and telecommunications.
Chamber members are enterprises with business activity in the ICT sector - telecommunications and information technology. Currently the Chamber is associating over 150 companies which are represented by their representatives.
The highest authority is PIIT General Assembly, meeting at least once a year in the first quarter of the year. Elected bodies of the Chamber are: the Council of Chamber, the Audit Commission and the Court of Arbitration. The Executive Board and the Chairman ( elected by General Assembly) are in charge of the Chamber management.
The Chamber can boast about significant achievements. For companies request, we explain and suggest changes (often successfully) in a numerous laws and regulations concerning legislation: tax, duty, certification, copyright and public procurement law as well as telecommunications law. Will also help companies directly in the issues which are essential for them and for the environment. There is also the Court of Arbitration for Internet domains connected to the Chamber.
In the political and administrative environment, the Board has a reputation of a reliable and constructive partner in discussions and negotiations. This position is continually consolidating and expanding. Consistently operate at the equitable business environment for all the units in a clear interpretation of laws. Currently, through the organization DIGITALEUROPE we can observe and actively engage in the work of the European Commission in matters related to the ICT market. We are also active internationally as a member of WITSA.
We are also promoting Polish ICT market and companies operating on it. We co-organised the Congress of Polish. We take over the patronage of the most important ICT events. Our success was the introduction of several Polish at CeBIT trade show in the 90's. We supported partners in other markets - Ukraine and recently also in China We cooperate with similar organisations overseas, and sales offices abroad and offices in foreign embassies in Poland.

SIT The Polish Association of Telecommunication Engineers (SIT)is a creative, technical and scientific organization, voluntarily gathering telecommunication and mailing engineers and technicians, as well as people involved in communications in a broad sense. The main goal of PATE is educational, scientfic and social activity in the field of ICT. PATE's potential is realized in its members working in telecommunications, coming from different sections of the economy, science and administration. The Association's scope of activities covers important areas connected with the telecommunications market and its regulatory strategy. Special emphasis is put on the following issues:
  • Influencing the formation of the Law on Telecommunications, so that it responds to the market needs
  • Developing the knowledge of telecommunications, particularly in terms of the latest technical solutions and the service possibilities thus offered
  • Assistance in the access to information and conducting business in telecommunications, with particular focus on utilizing European funds in Poland
  • Providing education in the field of telecommunications
  • Co-hosting scientific and technical-scientific conferences and symposiums devoted to various areas of ICT
The organization gathers over 2,500 members, constituting a forum for the exchange of experience and facilitating professional development in telecommunications.

Its traditions go back 175 years, with headquarters in Warsaw since 1905. The organization was originally founded in 1835 in Paris, France as the Polish Polytechnical Society, during the military Partitions of Poland by foreign powers. Since 1905 the association of Polish engineers has had a permanent office in Warsaw.

pses Polish Association of Solar Energy was founded in 2015. The idea was born out of the undeniable need of education in the field of solar energy and promoting the benefits it brings to the polish economy and to the individual business consumers.
We are an organization which unites people having a business in renewable energy sector with a special emphasis on scietific, production, services, construction and trading activities related to photovoltaics.
We closely cooperate with institutions which specialize in solar energy, universities and other scientific agencies which support and contribute to photovoltaics development in Poland.
Currently, the Association has over a hundred members representing companies and organizations operating in the photovoltaic in Poland , which together employ several thousand people.

TRMEW TRMEW - the Polish Association for Small Hydropower Development is the largest and oldest non-profit organization in the entire renewable energy industry in Poland. It brings together the owners and supporters of small hydropower plants. The history of the association goes back to the early 80s. It was formalized in 1988 when, on the initiative of the then President of the association, Marian Hoffman, it was officially registered. Over time the organization has undergone considerable development and currently has over 450 members who are both individuals and businesses.
The Association operates both on the national and regional scale. It also has an extensive network of contacts with national and European research centers, companies and institutions of the industry. TRMEW closely collaborates, among others, with the European Small Hydropower Association (ESHA), the Polish Hydropower Association (TEW) and the the Polish Association of Renewable Energy (SEO). TRMEW is also a member of the Polish Coordination Board of RES. Many years of activity of TRMEW have rendered it a well -known and recognizable brand in the Polish central and local government, academic and economic environments.

pigeor The Polish Economic Chamber of Renewable and Distributed Energy (Polska Izba Gospodarcza Energetyki Odnawialnej i Rozproszonej, PIGEOR) was established on 12th October 2004. On 30th November 2004, the Chamber had entered into the National Court Register, thus obtaining legal personality. The Chamber is an organisation of economic self-government, established under the Act on Chambers of Commerce of 30th May 1989.

rgi The Renewables Grid Initiative, was launched in July 2009, as a unique collaboration of NGOs and TSOs from across Europe. The organization promotes transparent, environmentally sensitive grid development to enable the further steady growth of renewable energy and the energy transition. RGI members originate from a variety of European countries, consisting of TSOs from Belgium (Elia), France (RTE), Germany (50Hertz and TenneT), Italy (Terna), the Netherlands (TenneT), Spain (Red Eléctrica de España), Switzerland (Swissgrid) and Norway (Statnett); and NGOs such as WWF International, BirdLife Europe, Fundación Renovables, Germanwatch, Legambiente, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe and Natuur&Milieu.
