Yue Huang, Manager Aviation Environment at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) during her presentation will cover topic of Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA). In particular, she will speak about aviation’s efforts of CO2 mitigation and approach towards carbon market. Yue Huang currently works with IATA as a manager of aviation environment. Yue was nominated as an experts in Global Market-based Measure Task Force (GMTF) under ICAO since 2013 and followed the discussion on a routine basis thereafter. In IATA, she is mainly responsible for aviation environmental policies, especially representing airlines to advocate policies in their favor. Yue also provides capacity building and outreach on ad hoc basis to airlines, helping them well-prepared of implementing the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA).
