The Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (PIIT) has been established in January 1993, currently associating nearly 130 largest companies in the ICT sector and telecommunications. Therefore, the Chamber is the most important partner, both in the law-making process and in giving opinions on current decisions of the government administration and regulatory authorities. The Chamber authorities implement their goals precisely through cooperation with legislative institutions, state and local government administration, providing them with appropriate information, competent analyzes and constructive assessments of phenomena and activities important for the ICT market.
