Case Study E.ON Sweden: Högbytorp - a closed-loop waste recycling and energy plant in northwest Stockholm

Stefan HakanssonWe are happy to inform that Stefan Hakansson, Managing Director, E.ON Sweden, will present a case study about Högbytorp - a closed-loop waste recycling and energy plant in northwest Stockholm at VII Forum of Biomass and Waste. The Forum will be held on 1st March 2018 in Warsaw. The combined Heat & Power plant (CHP) is being built adjacent to the established recycling and waste treatment facility of Ragn Sells at Högbytorp in Stockholm. Large focus is put on creating highly efficient internal loops for water, energy (heat, electricity and steam) and waste materials. The CHP will have an energy recovering efficiency of 99% (based on lower heat value) and the CHP, biogas plant and Ragn Sells waste facility will work in symbiosis. More
