Andrzej Kaźmierski, Director of Renewable Energy Department, Ministry of Energy He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology with a degree in computer science. Prior to taking over in March 2016 as Director of the Department of Renewable Energy in the Ministry of Energy, he performed various functions, including system designer, project manager mainly in the field of ICT, also managed companies in the field of IT and production of medical electronics. In the 90's he worked as a director in Polish and foreign ICT companies. After 2002, he managed technology and shopping at TVP. Since 2011 he was an independent management consultant, he has also served as an interim manager for a group of Bank Ochrony Środowiska. For years he has been dealing with the subject matter of regulated sectors. |

Andrzej Rubczyński, Research and Analysis Director, Energy Forum, Poland Manager of the energy industry with many years of practice in domestic and foreign companies, including PGNIG TERMIKA, Vattenfall and GIE - Ansaldo. In the early part of his career he held operational roles and then went on to lead the investment business. The past decade is a time of fundamental analysis for the energy market and macroeconomics of the energy sector, as well as the development strategy and long-term investment plans of the parent company. Knowledge in the field of energy and heat as well as sectoral legislation allows him to actively participate in the activities of organizations concerning creating the concept of development of modern domestic energy. |

Daria Kulczycka, Director of the Energy and Climate Change Department, Lewiatan Confederation, Poland She is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics. She is responsible for evaluating regulatory bills and Polish and European environmental and energy strategies and policies. Advisor to Leviatan's industry unions in the energy, chemical and extractive sectors. Secretary of Lewiatan's Renewable Energy Sources Board and the Gas Board. Member of energy and climate working groups in BUSINESSEUROPE. Currently, Daria focuses on national energy policy projects, including renewables and energy efficiency, shale gas and the EU 2020 climate and energy policy. |

Marcin Staniszewski, Prokurent, Proxy, Director of Production Department, Tauron Ciepło, Poland Graduated from Silesian University of Technology, with energy related since 2001. He started his professional career in an industrial CHP plant where he was involved in mines, preparation of the first cogeneration proposals for electricity produced by co-firing of metallurgical gas with hard coal. In the period 2012-2014 he was the Head of the Planning and Production Supervision Department at TAURON Ciepło sp. Z o.o. Currently as Director of Production Department is responsible for processes of planning and production, optimization of work units, acquisition of Property Rights and management of the environment. |

Agnieszka Skorupinska, Counsel, Head of Environmental Law Practice Warsaw, CMS Agnieszka Skorupińska is Counsel leading the Environmental Protection Practice in the Energy Projects Department at CMS. Agnieszka is a qualified advocate with 10 years of experience. She specialises in Polish and EU environmental protection and natural resources law. Agnieszka advises companies on regulatory issues, investment projects, environmental aspects of real property transactions, mergers and acquisitions as well as financing investments. For many years she has successfully represented clients in administrative and court proceedings concerning environmental protection law. Agnieszka’s experience includes projects concerning historical soil and groundwater contamination, environmental damage, preliminary reports, environmental impact assessments, air protection, including adjustment to emission standards specified in IED and BAT conclusions and obtaining derogations from such standards, issues related to CO2 emissions, obtaining environmental permits, including integrated permits, waste and water management, noise and REACH. As an advisor she has successfully represented companies from the energy, chemical, construction, waste management, FMCG, water supply and sewerage, renewable energy sources, mining, automobile, clothing and food sectors. Piotr Ciołkowski, Partner, Energy Projects Department, Warsaw office of CMS Piotr Ciołkowski is a legal advisor and partner in the Energy Projects Department at the Warsaw office of CMS. He manages the Regulatory Team which operates within the Department. He specialises in advising on regulatory issues in the energy sector. He represents Polish and foreign companies that operate in the sector on matters related to commencing and pursuing activities on the Polish market. His experience includes legal advice in connection with obtaining concessions and tariffs as well as on how to structure activities. In particular, he has been involved in unbundling processes, the creation of trade models and legislative work. Piotr also advises on trade in oil, gas and energy. He has prepared and negotiated sales contracts for electricity and fuel. He has assisted in trades in green, red and yellow certificates. He has advised companies involved in trading based on EFET standard contracts, as well as electricity producers in connection with the replacement of long-term contracts. He advised on the formation of a gas exchange in Poland. He has participated in M&A transactions in the energy sector, including the acquisition of one of the largest distribution companies and the acquisition of wind farms. He took part in the acquisition of a network of petrol stations by an oil company, as well as the acquisition of a rail terminal. Piotr has also advised on the privatisation of Polish power plants. Piotr’s experience includes representing clients in administrative proceedings and in litigation, particularly with the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. |

Sylwia Koch-Kopyszko, President, Union of Producers and Employers of the Biogas Industry (UPEBI) She has a degree in chemistry with a diploma with honors from the Warsaw University of Technology. She is also a graduate of Management at the School of Management and Law in Warsaw. She has over 15 years of experience in business development, marketing and team management. She was a member of the executive management in construction companies, like WODAN Sp. z o.o. and Degussa Construction Chemicals Poland. For more than 6 years she has been actively associated with renewable energy. Throughout her career, she was engaged in wind, photovoltaic and biogas projects all over Poland. Currently, she is the Chairman of the Board of the Union of Producers and Employers of the Biogas Industry, CEO of Green Energy Sp. z o.o. and the Chairman of the Board of Promotion of Polish Food Foundation. |

Adam Klepacki, Head of Market Analysis Team, Analysis and Development Department, ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE SA MSc. Adam Klepacki, a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, has completed several postgraduate studies at the Warsaw University of Technology and the Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2005 he is an employee of ENERGOPROJEKT KATOWICE SA. He started as an assistant and is currently working in the analysis and development department as the head of the market analysis team. He mainly deals with technical and economic analyzes of investment projects, market analyzes of long-term forecasts and advice for EPK's main clients. He participated in many projects for practically all Polish (but not only) energy groups. Adam is a co-author of the EPK's electricity market model in the PLEXOS program and author of several publications in trade journals and on the internet portal www.cire.pl. The main interests oscillate around issues related to the generally understood energy, but they are also astronomy and the history of World War II. |
