MIKRONIKA was established in 1983 by a group of former employees of Automation Systems Research and Development Centre, company associated with MERAMONT Poznan. In the beginning MIKRONIKA, as one of the first companies in Poland, was working on designing, manufacturing, installation and putting into operation microprocessor devices and systems. Our systems were intended for processes control in various branches of industry of high complexity level, requiring processing from several hundred to tens of thousands of measurements, statuses, warnings and controls. We are proud to state that many of our early solutions are successfully working till today. Today MIKRONIKA is one of Poland's leading suppliers of system solutions for industrial automation systems based on software and hardware developed and manufactured in-house. For more than 29 years our solutions have been widely used in electric utilities, metallurgy, chemical industry and more recently in telecommunication. Innovation and superior quality of MIKRONIKA products have won universal recognition by customers and have been confirmed by numerous awards at specialist trade shows and exhibitions; it also results in constant, year-by-year increase of number of implementations. SMART METERING – SMART GRID Our solutions are based on highly effective information technology systems that collect and manage data readout from different utility meters (electric energy, gas, water and heating meters) and make metering data available. Modern single- and polyphase Echelon meters represent the layer of metering devices. First, metering data in the form of register data values, load profiles, energy quality parameters and event logs are transferred to data concentrators by PLC technology and than they are sent to the central server. NES Platform controls all of these processes. ECN 7000 with COS system (Control Operating System) are another important elements in Smart Grid. Software COS provides an open, reliable and modular base that serves hundreds of applications absolutely necessary for smart grid.
