	SEDC - Smart Energy Demand Coalition The SEDC is an industry group dedicated to making the demand side a smart and interactive part of the energy value chain. Its focus is to promote demand-centred programs within the areas of, Demand Response, energy usage feedback and information, smart home, in-home and in-building automation that form the heart of the Smart Grid. Its vision is a strong participation of the demand side in the European electricity markets, which will lead to the long-term goals of the Smart Grid: affordability, security of supply and reduced carbon emissions. sedc-coalition.eu
	ČTPSG - Česká technologická platforma Smart Grid Czech Technological Platform Smart Grid was established in September 2009 by local energy companies. It aims at promoting innovative smart infrastructure in Czech Republic through active participation in network development. The Association is opened for every company and institution that is a part of the energy sector and wants to take part in creating the concept for Smart Grid in Czech Republic. The Platform is working on establishing strategic R&D plan for the grid. Its research looks into all aspects of smart grid: infrastructure, technological and normative solutions, and legislative framework. www.smartgridcz.eu
	IUSERPlatform It aims to facilitate collaboration between such sectors as: academia, research and development, industry, education, work market, and state services, to promote knowledge exchange and cooperation in project deployment, planning and strategy development, both on the Polish and International level. The focus of research, is in advancing such technologies and products that can accelerate the progress of distributed generation of energy. 	OSGP Alliance - The Open Smart Grid Protocol The OSGP Alliance, previously named ESNA, is an association by Dutch law, established in 2006. The main objective of the OSGP Alliance is to bring together and form a platform for all those who in one way or another deal with OSGP technology in their day to day operations. Hence the OSGP Alliance brings together utilities, application designers, IT companies, hardware manufacturers and consultants. www.osgp.org
	BESTGRID Launched in April 2013, the BESTGRID project tackles these problems by approaching current European grid development projects in innovative ways. BESTGRID derives its distinct significance from close cooperation between environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and transmission system operators (TSOs) from the UK, Belgium and Germany. They will work together during the planning as well as the implementation phases and aim at improving local public acceptance for grid development processes, speeding up permitting procedures while proactively addressing or even surpassing environmental protection standards, and encouraging the implementation of constructive public engagement in permitting procedures for European "projects of common interest." By sharing their knowledge and comparing experiences, partners will get a more rounded understanding of how to better implement grid expansion projects. www.bestgrid.eu
	The Technology Platform Smart Grid Austria The Technology Platform Smart Grids Austria is the network for an innovative energy future in Austria and creates a coordinated Austrian perspective on the topic of smart grids. It offers Austrian companies an active network and combines all major players (technology providers, utilities and R&D institutions) under one roof. The Technology Platform Smart Grids Austria has become over the years a competent partner for the public sector and interested stakeholders. www.smartgrids.at
	The President of the UKE (Office of Electronic Communications) is the national regulatory authority for the market of telecommunications and postal services. The President of the UKE is also the specialised authority in the area of equipment conformity assessment, including telecommunications terminal equipment and radio equipment. The specific duties of the President of the UKE include, inter alia: the performance of tasks related to the regulation and supervision of telecommunications services' markets, spectrum management, orbital and numbering resources, as well as the enforcement of compliance with electromagnetic compatibility requirements; intervening in matters related to the functioning of the market for telecommunications and postal services, the equipment market and the settlement of disputes between telecommunications undertakings; co-operation with domestic and international telecommunications and postal organisations, other competent national authorities, the European Commission and Community institutions, as well as other NRAs; co-operation with the President of the Office for Competition and Consumers Protection in matters related to the enforcement of the rights of parties using postal and telecommunications services, and with the National Broadcasting Council.
