V Emission & Energy Trading Summit (26th October 2016) |
The fifth edition of "Emission & Energy Trading Summit" took place on October 26, 2016 in Warsaw. The discussion topic was dominated by the draft amendment to the EU ETS Directive. The General Partner was PGE Dom Maklerski. As a Strategic Partner and Sponsor of a coffee break, Vertis Environmental Finance became involved. Belektron presented itself as a Technology Supplier and a lunch sponsor. Almost 150 experts debated the legal regulations of serving carbon efficiency, energy and industry. Market Stability Reserve, the problems associated with the phenomenon of carbon leakage, regulations MIFID II, REMIT and EMIR, as well as expectations for the Climate Summit COP21 in Paris – these were just some of the topics analyzed during the 4th edition of Emission & Energy Trading Summit, which was held on November 26 in Warsaw. The CO2 market in Europe needs MSR - European Commission representative argues. The representatives of industry believe on the other hand that MST will disrupt the market. MSR was the hottest topic of the 3rd edition of the conference "Emission Trading Summit", which took place on 19th November 2014 r. organized by CBE Polska. COP19 Climate Summit (13th November 2013) |
The main objective of Poland and European COP19 Union was to start the negotiations for a Third New Global Agreement about the greenhouse gas emissions that would apply in from 2020 According to to the schedule the negotiation will take place in years 2013 - 2015. CBE Poland was the only Polish company selected to host the expert debate. The main discussions included subjects related to the related to EU ETS market's future.As the only polish company which organized the panel discussion and was responsible for the site event during the Climate Summit COP19 in November 19th at the National Stadium in Warsaw The event was dedicated to the new regulations and the market strategies of climate changes and the prospects for emissions and allowance for the CO2 trading. The experts from allover the world will be involved in the discussion. The experts rise the subjects related to the regulations by showing the importance of fundamental restructuring to the entire model of the EU ETS. Additionally they will discuss about the market trends issues which have the impact on the changes in the backloading emissions and forecasts for the upcoming years. 1st edition of "European Emission Trading Summit" (22thNovember 2012) |
The first edition was hold in November 2012 and had met the great appreciation of the energy sector-we had an opportunity to host the the leaders from several European countries it hasopened the door to organize the above-mentioned side event during the COP 19 Climate Summit at the National Stadium in Warsaw. The idea behind the preparation of a new series was to create a place where all the CO2 traders emissions could meet among the others, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Polish, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Switzerland, Hungary, Great Britain and Italy. We had a pleasure to cooperate with representatives from KOBiZE and ERO. Event was organized in collaboration with the European Commission, the law firm Kochanski Zieba Rapala & Partners (Partner Legal) the European Energy Exchange AG and ICE Futures Europe, together with the following companies: Vertis Environmental Finance (Business Partner), Thomson Reuters Point Carbon, PGE Polish Energy Group EDF Trading and Statkraft ( Networking Partner). "Managing the emissions of the portfolio in the company" the workshop (22nd September 2011) |
The event was hold on September 22, 2011 in Warsaw MDM Hotel. It was covered by the Honorary Patronage: CO2 Stakeholders Forum of Economic Organizations and the Wood Industry Association. The only one of its kind dedicated to the CO2 emissions - specialized workshop - "Managing the emissions of the portfolio in the company". Content Partners: KASHUE (KOBiZE), Veritas Certification Polish and Hungarian company Vertis Environmental Finance. During the event the representatives from the energy, heat and utility sectors, discussed the new challenges and responsibilities they deal with, concerning the European Emissions Trading System. The discussion was detailed oriented and the subjects concerned inter alia, allocation, and the limits in the different phases of the system. Included the forecasts for EUAs, CERs and ERUs.
