Pawel Boguslawski Dr Paweł Bogusławski, independent expert

A longtime employee of the Energy Regulatory Office. Acting head of the Department for Heat Market Regulation, Department of Electricity and Heat Markets
Mirosław Wróblewski, Technical Director, Kraków District Heating

He is the Technical Director. The duties include supervision over maintaining the operations. He took part in the district cooling installation pilot conducted by MPEC Kraków in 2014. He is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology.
Mathias Safarik Mathias Safarik, Head of Department of Applied Energy Engineering, ILK Dresden

Mathias has a diploma in process engineering. For his PhD thesis he set up a solar thermally driven ammonia-water absorption chiller with latent heat storage. He started working for the Institute of Air Handling and Refrigeration (ILK Dresden) in 2002 with the main focus in absorption refrigeration technology. He was involved in several developments of innovative thermally driven chillers with different working fluids. His team was awarded the German refrigeration prize in 2018 for the development of a water/LiBr absorption chiller using asymmetrical plate heat exchangers. Another focus of his work is using water as refrigerant in compression systems with vacuum ice being one of the applications. Mathias is head of department of applied energy engineering at ILK.
Aleksandar Ivancic Aleksandar Ivancic, Senior Consultant, Aiguasol, expert in Barcelona District Cooling System

Alex Ivančić is a mechanical engineer, holds a PhD in Thermal Science. The main area of his professional interest is focused on energy systems in built environment. Alex is equally committed to researching, practicing and teaching. He currently works with Aiguasol as Senior Consuntat. Alex is Member of the International Keio Institute for Architecture and Urbanism, Keio University, Tokyo and Member of the network Ideas2Value. He has taught at Barcelona Institute of Architecture and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, among others. As invited lecturer he visited Université de Genève, Universita della Svizzera Italiana, Princeton University, New Delhi Schoolo of Planning and Architecture, University of Malmo, etc. Alex published over sixty scientific and technical publications on great variety of energy related topics, including the book EnergyScapes, 2010, Gustavo Gili.
Emil Stanczyk Emil Stańczyk, AGH University of Science and Technology

Dr. Eng. Emil Stańczyk currently working as a manager in the cement industry, author of many scientific and technical publications in the field of, inter alia, heat recovery, use of heat for the production of cold in the adsorption process, modeling and optimization of systems. He defended his doctoral thesis with distinction, and the subject was: "Modeling systems of using thermal energy for the production of cold in the adsorption process".
Piotr Andrusiewicz Piotr Andrusiewicz, President of the Board, Enervigo

A graduate of the Cracow University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Major of Electrical Engineering, Specialization: Power Engineering. He has 13 years of experience in the energy and heating industry. He started his professional career at Elektrociepłownia Mielec Sp. from o. o., where he served, among others functions of an energy engineer, director of investment and development and vice-president of the board for technical issues, being responsible, among others for investment, renovation and maintenance policy. In the years 2013-2016, Member of the Management Board for Technical Issues at ENEA Wytwarzanie Sp. z o. o. responsible for the area of generation, investment, renovation and environmental in the segments of power plants (power plant in Kozienice) and the heat segment. In the years 2009-2016 he was a member of the Polish Society of Combined Heat and Power Plants and, to this day, a member of the Polish Power Association. Author of numerous technical and economic concepts for modernization of generation sources in heating using high-efficiency cogeneration technology. Currently, he is the President of the Management Board of Mielec Diesel Gaz Sp. z o. o. (Enervigo) being at the same time its shareholder.
Piotr Kuzdra, Head of Project Development, Fortum Power and Heat Polska

For over 8 years associated with the energy industry. He has experience in managing merger and acquisition projects, integration of entities, and implementation of IT systems. He deals with the issue of the use of network heat for cold generation and the use of waste heat for the needs of thermal systems. He oversees cooperation with scientific units in the field of heat storage, cold production in ad- and absorption processes. Coordinates work in "CoolLab", which is a Fortum installation for conducting research on sorption, the use of solar energy for cooling and energy storage in phase-change tanks.
Andrzej Grzebielec PhD Eng. Andrzej Grzebielec, Department of Heat Engineering and Building Energy at the Institute of Thermal Technology, Warsaw University of Technology

In his scientific work, he focuses on issues related to the generation of cold from heat, which is naturally related to triggering and network chill. He is the author or co-author of over one hundred scientific publications and participated in over a dozen research projects related to generally understood energy.
Marek Laskowski Marek Laskowski, Innovation Coordinator, Energa

Professionally associated with the energy industry for 19 years. In the Energa Group he dealt with the management of investment projects, and then innovative and R & D projects. Initiates, implements and supervises key innovation and R & D projects of the Energa Group. Winner of the Prime Minister's First Prize for scientific and technical achievements. He completed a series of trainings in the field of negotiation, project and program management, and is certified, among others: PRINCE2, TRIZ. Listener of doctoral studies at the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Sylwester Żyła Sylwester Żyła, Director of the Production Office, PGNiG TERMIKA Energetyka Przemysłowa

A graduate of the Silesian University of Technology, a long-term technical director of the Rybnik Power Station, currently Production Director at PGNiG Termika Energetyka Przemysłowa SA; manages the production area of the Company - 7 branches - combined heat and power plants - in the western part of the Śląskie Voivodeship.,
Wiktor Kozłowski, Technical Director, Ramboll

He is responsible for the management, coordination and supervision of technical and engineering consultancy projects, and for the quality of consulting services. Has many years of experience in the energy and heating sector. Thanks to many years of work in power plants, in a power plant and in a combined heat and power plant, he obtained comprehensive practical and theoretical knowledge of operation and maintenance of installations producing electricity and heat as well as heating systems and experience in the field of project preparation and management from the investor's perspective. This experience is supplemented by many years of experience in providing consultancy and engineering services for the energy and heating sector.
