The seminar Prospects for District Cooling will take place June 12 in Chorzów. Panelists and industry experts, will debate on the future and implementation of cooling by district heating industry in Poland. Dr inż. Emil Stańczyk coordinated the project entitled: Conducting research on the possibility of using the district heating network of the city of Kraków for the production in the summer of ice water used in air-conditioning systems. " Project implemented in a consortium with AGH, MPEC Kraków, Elektrociepłowanią EDF, and Power Plant CEZ Skawina. The aim of the project was to check the impact of selected parameters on the energy efficiency of the network heat utilization system for cold generation. The research aimed at determining the key factors affecting the efficiency of cold production in the adsorption process. Dr inż. Emil Stańczyk currently working as a manager in the cement industry, author of many scientific and technical publications in the field of, inter alia, heat recovery, use of heat for the production of cold in the adsorption process, modeling and optimization of systems. He defended his doctoral thesis with distinction, and the subject was: "Modeling systems of using thermal energy for the production of cold in the adsorption process".
