09:00 - 09:45 | Introductory presentation Presentation of the Ministry of Energy on further work on energy clusters, results of the first competition for model energy clusters, and subsequent projects related to energy clusters. Speaker: Andrzej Kaźmierski, Director of Renewable Energy Department, Ministry of Energy, Poland |
09:45 - 10:15 | Legal Partner's presentation - Piszcz i Wspólnicy Law Firm Challenges for distributed energy - opportunities and threats for energy clusters The concept of clusters is strictly inscribed in the trend of developing distributed energy. Thanks to the decentralization of electricity generation, the power system will become more resistant to network failures and overloads, while at the same time energy awareness of consumers will increase as well as the involvement of consumers in the energy processes. Subsequent changes in the regulations change the rules of the electricity and gas market, set new challenges and development opportunities also for energy clusters. During the presentation, the most important development trends will be discussed in the context of practical aspects of the functioning of energy clusters, including key legal issues related to the organization of cooperation between members of the energy cluster and implementation of the cluster's objectives. Speakers: Nastazja Lisek and Monika Bogdał, Legal Counsels, Piszcz i Wspólnicy Law Firm, Poland |
10:15 - 10:45 | General Partner presentation: NMG SA Speaker: Robert Duszka, Business Development Director, NMG SA, Poland |
10:45 - 11:15 | Presentation on financing Energy Clusters Speaker: Grzegorz Tobolczyk, secialist, Department of Energy and Innovation, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, Poland |
11:15 - 11:45 | Coffee Break (Business Matchmaking) |
Block: Energy storage and E-mobility
11:45 - 12:30 | Energy storage and e-mobility in the Netherlands: Vehicle2Grid project by ElaadNL belonging to the Dutch OSD - Stedin Stedin and ElaadNL are actively working in the field of energy storage and e-mobility. One of the projects in which Stedin and ElaadNL in this regard is Cars Jeans Stadium in The Hague in the Netherlands. They built there a huge battery factory associated with charging stations for electric vehicles, presenting the comprehensive business opportunities offered by battery storage, while facilitating the transition of energy. Baerte de Brey, as an expert in this field, will present solutions that translate energy clusters into investments. Speaker: Baerte de Brey, Stedin expert and board member at ElaadNL, the Netherlands |
12:30 - 13:00 | Strategic Partner's presentation - Asseco Poland IT solutions for energy clusters Speaker: Tomasz Bendlewski, Director of the Energy and Gas Industry Department, Asseco Poland |
13:00 - 14:00 | Panel on energy storage and e-mobility Experts in the field of energy storage and e-mobility will discuss the application of these technologies in energy clusters. The development of these technologies in Poland is still in its infancy, what solutions and why do they have a future in clusters? The panel will include, among others, energy clusters with plans for the construction of energy storage, and having fleets of electric vehicles. How to use electric vehicles for balancing the network? The aim of the discussion will be to answer the above issues. Moderator: Barbara Adamska, CEO, ADM Poland Panel Participants: Jan Grześkowiak, Centrum Rozwoju Komunalnego, coordinator of Ostrów Energy Cluster, Poland Tomasz Sodowski, representative of Brenergia Energy Cluster, Poland Albert Gryszczuk, representative of Zgorzelec Energy Cluster on behalf of Innovation AG, Poland Janusz Bieńkowski, representative of the Karkonosze Energy Cluster on behalf of Energy Saving Systems Sp. z o.o., Poland Gerard Lipiński, Project Coordinator, National Center for Research and Development, Poland Marcin Śliwa, Director of the Competence Center Energy/Utilities, NMG SA, Poland |

Block: Smart Networks and cooperation with DSOs
15:10 - 15:40 | Presentation of The Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Olsztyn The speaker will talk about the development of renewable energy in the municipality of Kisielice and plans for an energy cluster based on existing investments. The second part of the presentation will be the assumptions and possibilities of energy independence of municipalities, and cooperation between local Governments and DSO. In the third part, we will learn about the WFOŚiGW energy consultancy program. Speaker: Tomasz Koprowiak, Energy Advisor, WFOŚiGW in Olsztyn, Poland |
15:40 - 16:30 | Panel topic: The role of OSD in an energy cluster, and how to best organize a distribution network in an energy cluster We can distinguish three main models of cooperation between energy clusters and DSOs: cooperation with OSD as a network manager, own distribution network, or a hybrid model. How to cooperate with the DSO, how to manage the network intelligently, what regulatory solutions are needed for the energy cluster to be able to freely develop projects in each of the three variants. Experts from clusters, DSOs, and technology companies will discuss solutions on the above topics.
