We are pleased to announce that Bożena Przewoźna, Director of the Department of Public Utilities and Housing Authority of the of Poznan City Hall has confirmed her participation in the 5th edition of the Forum of Biomass & Waste, which will be held on 13-14th April 2016 in Warsaw. Expert will participate in a panel discussion on the use of waste and biomass to generate heat and / or electricity.
Household waste incinerator in Poznan is the first project in Poland (and one of the first in Europe) implemented under public-private partnership, which was financed from EU funds. The European Commission has decided to co-finance the project in the amount of approx. EUR 80 million.More...

Choć koszt zakupu paliw stanowi dla zakładów wytwarzających energię około 60-80% kosztów eksploatacyjnych i kluczowe oszczędności teoretycznie mogą być uzyskane dzięki wybraniu tańszego węgla, to należy zapominać, że prawdziwą ceną węgla są również dodatkowe koszty wynikające z wpływu tego paliwa na pracę elektrowni. W niektórych przypadkach szkody powstałe w skutek stosowania gorszego paliwa mogą przeważać oszczędności, bowiem niska jakość węgla wpływa destrukcyjnie właściwie na każdy element pracy zakładu wytwórczego.
W związku z powyższym, zapraszamy do udziału w II edycji specjalistycznych warsztatów pt.: "Wpływ jakości paliwa na proces spalania w kotłach energetycznych", które odbędą się 10 lutego 2016 roku w Warszawie. Podczas szkolenia szczegółowo omówione zostaną wymagania jakościowe stawiane węglom energetycznym, m.in.: zawartość wilgoci, popiołu, siarki, wartość opałowa, zawartość części lotnych, zdolność spiekania, uziarnienie, podatność przemiałowa i temperatura topnienia popiołu. We invite you to visit the latest investment in biomass CHP "Siekierki" belonging to the PGNiG Group Termika - Strategic Partner of the 5th Forum of Biomass & Waste, which will take place on 13-14th April 2016 in Warsaw.
We would like to remind that last month in CHP "Siekierki" the K-1 boiler exploatation was stared. This unit is able to burn only biomass. The reconstruction cost of the K1 boiler  Siekierki, which aim was adapting it to biomass, amounted to nearly 121.8 million PLN. Amount of 20 million PLN from this cost camed from the Norwegian Fund. During the event, the expert will talk about the operation the Municipal waste incineration plant in Konin.
